• Saudi stocks closed lower and recorded the lowest close in 8 weeks

     Saudi stocks closed down today to continue falling for the second consecutive session while achieving the lowest daily closing in 8 weeks.

    And the main market fell for today's session by about 0.5 percent, or about 41 points, to close at the level of 8053 points, and trading values during the session today amounted to about 4.17 billion riyals, while the trading volume reached about 171.7 million shares through the implementation of about 183.1 thousand transactions.
    ​​​​The most affected by the market movement was the “French Bank” share, where the bank’s share declined by 5.3 percent, after announcing the results of its business for the year 2019, which achieved 122 percent growth, reaching a net profit of 3.11 billion riyals, as the bank indicated that the rise in profit growth It is due to the decrease in the provision for Zakat and tax.

    Shares of the Refineries Company topped the gains, rising by 4.4%, followed by Asharqia Development Company, which rose by 3.9%. On the other hand, the shares of 50 listed companies increased, while the shares of 138 listed companies declined in the main market.
    The growth market has declined slightly by the end of trading today by about 0.3 percent, and trading at 11.22 million riyals, through the circulation of 232.8 thousand shares.
